Assuming that stock is pretty much sold out, this would put FF7R above Spiderman, GOW and UC4. Biggest PS4 exclusive launch of all time.

FF7R will easily sell 10 million+ on PS4 alone.

Not necessarily.  Keep in mind that all three of those other games were all heavily bundled.

If you look at the sales curves of those games, they tend to have the initial launch, then a huge spike of a few million as they hit their bundle period.  As opposed to games like Witcher 3 or Call of Duty WWII which have their big launch, and then sell at a fairly consistent rate afterwards.

Unless it's bundled, which doesn't seem likely, you shouldn't expect the size of the launch to equate with those games.  If it is going to outsell them it'll need a significantly higher baseline.

What did the other 3 sell in the same timeframe?

God of War: 3.1M
Spider-Man: 3.3M
Uncharted 4: 2.7M

FF7: 3.5M

FF7 is shipped but since its sold out in nearly every country (sell through in Japan was a record breaking 96%) its pretty safe to assume sold is close to shipped.

Honestly 10 million is the conservative estimate. UC4 is at 17 million, GOW is at 15 million+, Spiderman did 9 million in 2 months, 13 million in 10 months.

Bundles is a moot point. Every best selling game has bundles, Mario Kart, Zelda, GTAV, Minecraft, UC, TLOU, COD, FIFA etc

Thats just wrong.

Spiderman: 3.5M 3 days, 13M 10 months

UC4: 2.7M 3 days, 8.4M 7 months, 16.2M 3 years

GOW: 3.1M 3 days, 10M 12 months

HZD: 7.6M 1 year, 10M 2 years

Witcher 3 and COD outsell 99% of exclusives. In fact there isn't a single exclusive this gen that has outsold W3, 28 million.

Why are bundles a moot point?  Bundling obviously had a huge impact on the three other games you mentioned, which is why their sales pattern is way different than most games.

Compare Uncharted 4 to Witcher 3 and COD Advanced Warfare sales on PS4.  COD starts out selling much better, but Uncharted jumps ahead after a huge surge in the holidays of about 4 million units.  The Witcher 3, also released in May, sees a holiday boost, but not nearly that large.  The best explanation for the humongous jump of sales is that the game was bundled.

Considering those games got a huge boost from being bundled, you can't expect similar sales for FF7 based solely on its launch week.  The next few weeks would have to be much bigger for it to be likely.  Of course, assuming you count the inevitable PS5 version, it may have long legs as each release could cause a jump in sales.
