Honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised that PS5 version of Horizon: FW keeps selling decently considering it’s a free upgrade from the PS4 version and its up against Elden Ring.

Elden Ring has been a pleasant surprise too. I was wondering when PS5 would have its first big hit at retail that sells over 100,000 copies.

I just noticed that the last 3 copies of Horizon to be sold were on PS5 and were sold during a brief period that COMG discounted that game.
Just a small piece of information.

Also I can’t seem to find evidence that COMG, Geo or Tsutaya have physical pre-orders up for Splatoon 3 in Japan yet.
I guess that’s not that surprising for a game that may not come out until July or August for all we know.

Ok weekend for ER for moving 5 points to 152 with 12 days left. The current goal is still 170.

Fairly weak weekend, particularly since it was almost immediately after a Nintendo Direct. Also disappointing for HZD to not have any pre-orders.

Might be COVID keeping a decent amount of people away. The 7 day rolling average for cases is about as high as it has ever been in Japan (over 100k).

Sugoi increase for ER. I see it building itself for a strong Monday to start the week. It is now at 161 with 11 days left. The goal has increased to 180.

Rather weak last 5 days or so for Horizon. At least it didn't get blanked again today I guess.
