Basically what I expected. Seems like an obviously high quality product that is hurt by unnecessarily splitting it into 3 parts.

What? Did you make this up?

Most common complaints so far are:

- New plot content irrelevant in grander story

- some KH Bullshit in the final hours of game.

Yes.. and why do you think all of that new irrelevant plot content was added?

To expand on characters/lore around Midgard.

Good to see it reviewing well.

I'll be waiting quite some time before I get my copy.

Could it possibly be that they added this content to stretch the game into three parts?  And if the developer team was told that this was only going to be a single release, what would have happened to all of that content?

I'm wondering why it didn't get 90 or higher tbh.

I'm interested in playing it, but paying full price for 1/3 of the game seems ridiculous. This is likely going to end up costing €180, even more if people are buying the deluxe versions.

Seems like the two 60 scores that complain about the story being buffed in content to cover for the split of the original. Just like the preconceived complains we heard over the last couple years.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Good review scores. Still could be a contender for game of the year. Doesn't matter if it's a fucking remake...

Its not 1/3 of the original, tell me where in the original did you go *Spoilers* to top plate? Rob Jessie's house? Battle a new villain named Roche? You do loads of stuff in the main story that didn't exist in the original. Meaning that once all games are released you will be getting 200-250% more game than the original ever had.

Honestly lower than I expected but then again that's been the case a lot recently.
