So they put restrictions on netflex etc, now I dont have a datacap myself, but i suspect some of you do, will this reduction help you out?

i consumed
desktop 380 GB
Consoles 450 GB ( redownloading games that dont fit on external storage and monthly games etc )
Phone 45 GB ( different dataplan tho )

so 875GB total over the last 30 days

Google Fiber doesn't have Caps so I dunno. I don't do anything 4k but I do watch hundreds of videos on YT/Movies/TV shows etc online plus have many tabs open.

It can vary somewhat significantly from month to month, but on average I use about 950GB per month.

1.8TB down and a good bit more up. At least for the current and last month. The only streaming I do is youtube and Twitch. Having no caps is a nice thing.

Not really, before I had to switch Netflix back to SD and keep tabs on my kids to keep you tube at 480p near the end of the month.
Since September we're back to 1080p streaming, no 4K or game streaming yet, just the occasional patch and/or game download. I did switch to the digital edition of GT Sport which I downloaded on both our PS4s (2 can play online with one ps+) that alone added 220 GB to December!
