Still have my PS3 hooked up but it has been a while since I played it. I think EX Troopers disc is still in there from a few months ago. PS3 UI is hard to go back to.

| globalisateur said: It's also a great machine to play PS1 digital and disc games (emulation is perfect) and some PS2 classics remade on PS3 like Jak and daxter, Ico or Shadow of the colossus. |
Sadly PS1 games are region locked and swap discs don't work even on the super slim. Kinda bummed I have to pull out one of my PS1/Ones then, hook it up then get the swap disc. Not a major deal, just when playing imports I need to use a whole different console can be annoying. At least I can use my PocketStation! Rarely get a chance to use that thing.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Yeah I love the guy but he can be a fucking idiot sometimes haha. He's very impulsive and often doesn't think things through. On the hand, he's also brilliant at a bunch of stuff that's all Greek to me like coding and computer animation.
In addition to the Uncharted games I reckon I'll revisit the Resistance trilogy too, I remember having fun with those. And Killzone 3, liked that one too.
i wish we there was an option to host private servers.. i would love to play warhawk and motorstorm again

If fans could get Dreamcast back online then maybe? If fans are dedicated enough it's not impossible.

You are in luck - you can play Warhawk online through an app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.thalhammer.warhawkreborn&hl=en_US

It is kinda cool to own the full 7th gen Triforce again, got em all lined up under my TV.
There's not really anything left on PS3 I haven't already played or passed on, but it has been a very long time since I played the games I did enjoy on it, so revisiting those should make these long barren months more bearable.
Hope you have a good time with it.

The one I just picked up is the 2009 regular slim. For a "slim" model it's still a fair size, I'd forgotten how big they were haha. |
My super slim didn't last long at all. Technically it still works fine, and the problem is very miniscule. Basically, anytime the fan kicks into high gear it makes a loud grinding noise. And I can't stress enough that when I say loud, I mean loud as fuck. Like... oh shit, the neighbors are going to call the cops, loud. I tried getting into the console but I don't think I have the tools or the patience.
Keep in mind, this only really happens when the fans rev up all the way, so I can use the console for Netflix and maybe a little bit of gaming, depending on what I'm playing. But since I do have another PS3 phat that's in working condition, I just opt to use that instead for gaming.
Oh, and it's just a 12GB super slim (yes, they did make 12GB PS3s briefly). I remember the day I found out that I couldn't install a 10 GB game because it needs to allocate about twice that amount of space to perform the install. That day has since been known as Christmas.
