What made you think that? Did you read something somewhere?

https://www.resetera.com/threads/valve-and-xbox-news-coming-soon.308854/

I was just reading that. Just looked like some sort of Game Awards Q&A.

Queenstown NZ. People are checking those coordinates in both the real world and Flight Sim to see if there is anything there, not sure if they found anything yet.

This is some conspiracy theory shit but here goes...

On google maps, there is a place near by called Steamer Wharf... Not to mention Gabe Newell himself has been stuck in NZ since... March or so due to covid.

Maybe there is something there afterall...

I'm not buying it. You're a secret MS employee trying to downplay it before it gets out because I figured it out too early. The radio signals I get in my head told me so.

I'm on to you.

Xbox doesn't have any Steampunk or Cyberpunk titles which are vastly different from any other RPG settings they have. Fable 3 is set in a Steampunk universe and Shadowrun is a Cyberpunk title. Both MS IPs.

Avowed and Elder Scrolls will get compared, it's unavoidable, both also will have a focus on sword fighting while being in the old age fantasy setting. The Outer Worlds is Space/Sci-Fi and basically Fallout in space. Feels like Starfield will be a more modern day grounded Sci-Fi. With MS going for a massive service that will try to retain users, similar content with a slight twist will be sought after by RPG communities. No one else does those type of games anymore but Bethesda and Obsidian.

I'm not saying Wasteland is a copy of Fallout but Fallout is literally a spiritual successor to Wasteland, there will be comparisons made and Fallout did used to be a turn based isometric title like Wasteland, if Wasteland follows the same trajectory as Fallout meaning going from isometric to ARPG 3rd Person there will be even more comparisons made, it will be inevitable and there will be similarities, the main one being they're both post-apocalyptic settings caused by a nuclear holocaust.

That squad based gameplay will get dumbed down for an ARPG and it'll be almost no different than recruiting companions in Fallout. InXile doing Steampunk Fantasy or Cyberpunk will differentiate themselves completely from other RPGs Xbox is creating, which will provide us with more variety.

Just by making Wasteland gunplay up to FPS or TPS standards, it will be different than ARPG Fallout titles. 😁

Similar theme settings, doesn’t make 2 games alike; for example CoD and RS6.
However, I’d like for InXile to make Wasteland into a TPS/RPG with a Mass Effect flair.

All this delicious teasers...hope Monday brings some answers

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Preorders are currently possible again in Germany (seemingly only at Media Markt and Saturn). I just preordered my XSX.

Am I the only one thinking even though we are green now, that Xbox should be represented by black in VGC's next generation charts? I really feel it would look really classy if we became "Team Black" instead of Team Green.

Black gamers matter!
