Beat Fallout 4 :) ***Ignore that time above, in game time ended up being 93 hours.

This was my first Fallout game I played and I first tried it a few years ago and quit after an hour. However, I'm going back through my games and actually gave this one a chance. Overall, I really enjoyed it. It does have its faults, but I liked how interconnected the groups were. I loved the exploration of the world itself, the colors I can understand may put people off, but it did work for me. They could have used more enemies and the ending did feel a little rushed. Crafting I wasn't too much of a fan of either. I probably do like Skyrim a little more just because of the different environments, but I did like this story overall more. I am really excited to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas and I'm hoping they give Fallout 5 some time. For those who are planning on playing, you probably are saving it to play on Series X. The DLC was also pretty enjoyable. Swear I didn't just play this after MS bought Bethesda either, just a happy coincidence.

Going back to these old games have given allowed me to give games a second chance and for a few of these I will be playing more in the series, like MK 11 and AC games. Sad to say that this is going to be my last Xbox game to be played on the One X. Might just box it up, not sure if I want to sell it, but there's really no point to keep it.

The one thing I find disappointing watching the developer counts the last several months, is the lack of growth at Undead Labs. Me and alot of others want them to go AAA for State of Decay 3, but over the past few months of watching them they've only hired like 4 or 5 new people I think, and are only at 87 currently. Doesn't give me much hope that State of Decay 3 will actually be AAA. The only studio with slower growth than them is Double Fine, I think they only hired 2 new people since I started watching this and have no open job listings, but since they have like 3 single A teams, 75 devs divided by 3 is plenty, they only really need to expand if they ever decide to make Brutal Legend 2. Ninja Theory has also pretty much leveled off at this point, been hovering around 105 the last few updates, a bit disappointing since they are split between at least 3 teams, would be nice to see the Hellblade 2 and Project Mara teams be larger.

Undead Labs have staffed up a considerable amount since SoD2 development when there were only at 40 staff and I'm sure they will gradually creep up into the low 100's as production goes on.

That's great! I am about half way through including DLC, I think I'll wait till I get my series X to finish it on BC for that boosted performance.

Seeing that list of launch games has be regretting my pre order but oh well games will come as time goes by. The two games I was hoping to play at launch was Destiny 2 and the Medium but those are coming in December.

Very rarely are there must own games at launch for a console. Switch is the only console in recent memory to have a must own title at launch with Breath of the Wild. Other consoles would be the original Xbox with Halo: Combat Evolved and the N64 with Super Mario 64.

Yeah this is true but still this lineup of games is probably the weakest launch xbox has ever hadThe PS5 has better launch games also. Microsoft really needed 343i to pull through.

Business wise Halo being delayed is good news. Xbox needs a top IP to go against Horizon and GoW in 2021. Launches just need hype to sell. Xbox has the power and Bethesda seems to have given the hype fuel Xbox needs. It will sell on the idea of playing Bethesda IPs on Xbox only.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla + Upgrade from One S is good enough for me but overall that launch lineup is poor.

Have a feeling after Infinite ships some heads will roll at 343, the delay is good but there's no way Microsoft is happy with 343 at all, they missed SX launch and so much marketing expenditure is now down the drain.

Low-key hoping Joseph Staten doesn't return to XGP, stays at 343 Industries and becomes Studio Head or Creative Director.

Fully agree, the management at 343 needs to change I think. They've messed up one too many times.

That being said, I liked what was shown of infinite, especially gameplay and concept wise. I'm super excited for it and I hope the extra time will let them polish it to be the as great as it should. I hope they can get it out in the first half of the year.

Yakuza is the only launch game you need. Stop ducking Yakuza
