I doubt Apple will change their policies unless it becomes not financially viable for them to continue with this policies. I see a lot of people being disappointed by this and talking about how they will switch from iOS to Android. But the problem is that first of all, these people are vocal minority. Second, the news on gaming sites about xCloud, are targeted at people who have the intention to try the service. So, of course they will be disappointed by this. This just creates a distorted view that a lot of iOS users are not happy with this when in reality Apple won't give a shit about losing a couple millions out of hundreds of millions iPhone sales per year. So, I don't expect them to change this.

Real talk, did anyone here get the xcloud invite? Let me (us) know how it is.

Also does xcloud include console streaming from the xbox to the phone? I'm not sure if this is included with xcloud.

1st Control dlc 'The Foundation" was nothing special. It's quite short and not much of a story. Couple of side quests were pretty cool though.

6/10 hope the 2nd is better.

Yeah, I doubt it too, I see the only likely 2 ways they'll change being...

1. Financial hit but it won't be from people switching from iOS to Android, the only way they will deem themselves losing out financially is if xCloud/Gamepass is a huge hit on Android - Which is a wait and see but if it is a big success I could see Apple quickly reversing their policies.

Or

2. EU fucks them up, cause we know America won't.

Keep the negative PR coming though, Nvidia, Google and Sony should speak out next, Sony cause if they ever want PSNow on mobile then they'll have to deal with Apple too, better now than later.

Oh but I trust Europe to do so :)

I mean, we are good at doing that (a lot of time for wrong reason as the hate for the US is quite something and based on a lot of non-sense (I'm French and my GF is German, but I live in Canada and I hear so much non sense about how the US are bad and how everything in NA is fucked and blah blah blah, not sure how it is in the UK). While some of it is true, the majority of people talking shit actually have little to no clues what they are talking about :)

But yah, in in many case Europe did some good pushing Google, Microsoft and others to do the right thing.
Not sure what they can do about this one tho, as Apple has the right not to let the streaming game app to run on their platform.

they broke MS in the 90s aswell im sure this will be done in the future, maybe not intime to save xcloud on ios but it will come

I tried it for like an hour a few months ago. And yes it included console to phone streaming.

Apple would be tougher to crack because they don't violate anti-monopoly laws like MS did back in the 90s I guess. There is an alternative which is Android and which even has a bigger marketshare. Also, seems like it won't be a problem for MS to release local streaming to iOS because it doesn't violate App Store policy and there are numerous apps like this already. Like Playstation streaming for example.
