I for one am extremely hyped for a few of these titles announced like Fable and Avowed, Xbox will absolutely kill it with WRPGs next gen, they may be a while away but we'll get there eventually. Hell I have absolutely no interest in Motorsport but I'm still curious about the approach they may take with it, Everwild looks intriguing, as does State of Decay 3 (We can probably assume it's going to be a huge step up from State of Decay 2). Psychonauts 2 looks awesome, imagine when Double Fine starts pumping out more titles, Xbox could really shine with platform exclusives thanks to them. Future is looking good, Gamepass is killing it and their studios are finally showing up, we also still have the August event and possibly more announcements at TGA's, which will make editing my OP even more awkward. I'm still excited for Series X so I can finally upgrade from my shitty One S, Gamepass is Goddamn amazing value, I'm finally getting another Halo title! Even the smaller titles like Grounded I'm looking forward to playing.You're right, you're not Jaywood, but that's good. He had a lot of great things about his thread which made it fun, but there were negatives with him too. He often got too heated and ended up getting banned, which sucked. You do a damn good job at promoting positive and healthy discussion, I'd say just as good, if not better than him. Speaking from experience as we both joined VGC and his thread around the same time. He also benefited from having a thread on a website which was much more popular. 2013-14 VGC was to me at it's highest.
I'm glad to be back HERE, in this thread. I left this site as it became a cesspool, but this thread coming back was a good decision. I do hope Angelus stays he's a good user, might fuck me up a lot, but he's cool.
In terms of the event, I think there was a lot to look forward to. Halo, the gameplay looked great and I get how the shit talking can get exhausting when it's constant and non constructive. SoD 3 I hope gets a better budget as well. Motorsport, like you, Idc about, but I'm willing to try it as it looks like a once in a gen game. Liking the emphasis on 3D platform games (one from SE and Psychonauts 2). Obsidian is doing a great job too, hopefully, you me, ice can play Grounded soon. And Of course Fable <3.
Gamepass is phenomenal and I think it will only be getting better.
