Is the PSO2 graphical update only for Series X or is it coming to XB1?

I believe it's a full on revamp of everything, not just a graphics bump.  Basically a new game.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

Its not a bad thing we get most of these games in 2021 that will boost interest during the year and those that wanna play halo on its best dont need to buy a 1000 euro xsx on ebay

Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Wow that’s really great, my biggest complaint was just how dated the game looked and felt.

Thoughts on the games shown.

Halo - Gameplay looks great, underwhelming visuals and some questionable choices regarding artstyle. need to see more exploration.
Everwild - Pretty trailer but pointless. It's the game's second showing and we still don't have a clue what you do in it.
SoD 3 - My most requested additions were a snow map, an urban map and wildlife. Looks like we're getting at least two of these so i'm very excited to play!
Avowed - Didn't see much but it looks like a dream project for Obsidian and completely trust them.
Fable - Again didn't see much but it's colorful and humorous so it's definitely on the right path.

Oh yeah, I wasn't sure if I heard it during the showcase, and in my (still)tired haze forgot to check until now. Avowed is set in the Pillars of Eternity universe.

'first-person RPG set in the fantasy world of Eora.'

Suddenly the trailer feels like it makes more sense to me, though it's been a while since I read the first lore book so I could be misinterpreting it.

Too many game trailers without gameplay. But Halo looks fine. It's an open world shooter with 60fps and in 4k. Not sure what people expect such a game to look like as launch title. They just need to fix some of the texture pop-in but otherwise it looked good. No damn annoying aliasing!

When I see people comparing it with a third-person PS5 game releasing end of 2021 or even later I'm not sure what to say...

If Im not mistaken, every game they shown today will be on gamepass, right? If so I wonder how much third party supported they held off on because it wouldnt be on gamepass. I hope their next event is great

That's actually a good point. Phil said every game shown today was day one also on gamepass. Might have some goodies for August then for 3rd parties. We'll see.

I remember when Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta was playable some months before release. Most fans myself included were a bit shocked how it looked, bad textures, not much lighting and stuff.

The final product was something else entirely. Still looks great 1080p60fps on base X1. So I'm sure they can and will improve Halo a lot for release.

And I think it already looks fine. I like the art style.
