The CMA document reads like it was written by Sony. They seem to sincerely be making the argument that Sony is entitled to its current marketshare.

IMO Micorosft has a slam dunk argument against that and I don’t suspect the CMA’s concerns will stand up to scrutiny

Yah they are really trying to basically protect "Sony".. That's so weird :) I mean it is really nothing and expected at the end and not a big deal but I found it a bit weird.

Ugh.......it does have that banner on the top right hand corner of the roadmap

yah ahah :) But at the same time; you know how the Internet is freaking out for the smallest changes; so better for them to re-iterate.. and at the end if something changes, the internet will still make it a huge deal anyway and call them out for lying! :)

You gotta love it :)

343 should honestly create a community playlist, not competitive, no rankings and pick out some community made Forge maps (like those remakes I've posted) and have the community test them for their competitive viability, submit feedback to 343 (the pros sure as shit will test those maps thoroughly) and then any which work well with Infinite's gameplay (cause these are maps from the Halo 1-3 era) can be slapped into official ranked rotation.

343 has been focusing too much on the competitive aspect of Halo. The creator of Halo multiplayer himself in describing what he was trying to create was a, "party game with shooter mechanics" Those were his exact words. But adding the party aspect to Halo multiplayer is not at the top of 343's priority.

It's like this now with Super Smash Bros. There's a competitive scene for it, but all my friends only want to 1v1, no platforms, no items, 3 stock. We've even had 30 person tournaments. It's cool, but that's now what got me into Super Smash Bros. Nor is competitive aspect is what got me into Halo.

Hmm, haven't seen much disappointment at splitscreen co-op being cancelled lol

Looks like Microsoft may have its own Destiny competitor by extension lol

Didn't watch the stream cause I was frustrated but damn these Forge maps look so good which makes it hurt even more than there aren't more of them considering they're far quicker to make than internal tool maps, Lol.

You should definitely watch the stream. There is some good info in there about what they're focusing on that's not been covered by posts.

New IP? CoD Spinoff?

No new info yet. Previously, the job postings have just described it as an "open world RPG" but I'm guessing more details have been leaked out.

For massive sales, you would think it would be a CoD spinoff since just the name carries a megaton nuke amount of weight on it.
