Ooof, why would Phil sell Sony Deathloop rights for Sony's Gamepass competitor on the same month the game releases on Xbox? Would have been far smarter to make it Gamepass service exclusive.

My guess is sales weren't so hot? For how much marketing Sony did for the game, it never was topping sales charts. At least the major ones.

Last info I saw was that it was the 18th most downloaded game on the PlayStation Store for 2021 in the US and Canada. Or it could have been a pre-established deal with the game since it'll be just a few days after the game loses its exclusivity window.

Delays seemingly confirmed, but we'll know more tomorrow.

Is 343 even capable of hitting targets? Like, seriously...the world wants to know

I don't recall 343 having issues hitting targets until Halo Infinite. Halo 4 and 5 released just fine. Even Halo 5 had a years long roadmap at launch lol. MCC of course needed several years of delays

Something seriously bad happened at 343 after the bad press and fan backlash after Halo 5's release.

343 themselves hyping tomorrows update.

Another very odd partnership

Expectations as to what we'll see with tomorrow's roadmap update?

I feel like Forge will need its own livestream and won't be something we'll really get any information on tomorrow other than an expected release window.

They could also be releasing a new version of Deathloop on Xbox with additional content and as an extension selling it as DLC on PlayStation so that would make good case of tempting people to buy the DLC instead of the game itself for what the game would cost them.

I'm curious outside of playing them "Free on Gamepass" how many of us here are buying Xbox games physical still? I used to be a physical only buyer last gen but with all the installer on a disc or the the Xbox One version only on a disc requiring full game download for Series X anyway it's made me care very little for physical copies on the Series X but I also care just as little for digital game prices in the UK.

Halo MCC still getting some really nice updates. I know another Halo game that could definitely use some UI enhancements

I personally still buy physical. It's actually been noted that the issues with only the installer on a disc or just the Xbox One version will be alleviated once games are Series X/S only. It's cross gen smart delivery enabled games that are the cause of these problems.

If you buy the physical copy of say the next gen upgrade of GTA V, it is the full game on the disc.
