You can play it solo and that's how I played it, other players are on the map but no one killed me and most seem rather to find friends.

Ooh so it is like a MMO then?

Is it like Dragon Ball Xenoverse where you can see people but choose not to interact with them or is it like Dark Souls where they can attack you?

I'm guessing there's no way to turn that off unless I play offline but if I do that, I'm guessing I wont be able to play it...so like Sea of Thieves...

You can see people, PVP is a choice you can turn off. Game is huge and overwhelming at first but give it a good try, find a place for your camp etc.

I'm super relieved that Casey Jones will be there. The lineup just felt incomplete. That 6 player online and local co-op though :)

Looks inspired by Alien Isolation, will check it out on Gamepass.

Edit: Actually forgot about this game, it was announced way back and then went on a long Hiatus.

Christ I hope the Xbox show is good and Nintendo announces a Direct.

What are you hoping for that'll make the Xbox show good?

Also, the leak that a Direct was happening on June 15th turned out to be false. The leak was based on that demon card game, don't even remember what it's called, but that game was just shown here at SGF.

EDIT: Neon White was the game the leaker was saying would be dropped during a Direct.

If I never end up playing another AC game, I think I would be okay with that. Burnt. Out.

Back from my US vacation. Just in time for the big disappointment .. uhm I mean show.

I was surprised to see myself #1 on gamerscore ranking so far this month. Noticed you had no gamerscore and though you died. Or worse, switched to Playstation!

No FF7 stuff on Keighley's show. Reminder, Square said last month that June would have FF7R announces, plural. I'm thinking we may actually get a FF7R Xbox port announce and a FF7R 2 (day one multiplat) reveal back to back on Xbox showcase. Looking like Sony might not have hatted FF7R2, which makes sense to me, it's overkill to hat it, most Square Enix RPG fans will already be grabbing a PS5 for FF16 and Forspoken, there are better uses of their hat money that hatting FF7R 2 as well.

Also no Bioshock 4 on Keighley show. The leak from back in December said it would be revealed first half 2022, and yet Bioshock 4 has now skipped both the Sony State of Play and Keighley's show so far this month. I'm now somewhat hopeful of a Bioshock 4 reveal on the Xbox show, meaning Sony didn't timed hat it like we heard 2 years ago. Though it's also possible the reveal got delayed, possibly to the likely September State of Play from Sony or The Game Awards.

Is this the only Summer Games Fest showcase?

Yes. The rest of the SGF celebration will be other company's showcases like Xbox on Sunday and Capcom on Monday.
