Either way, I can't wait for Xbox/Bethesda E3 time period 2022! It's going to be insanely packed with expected showcases for Starfield, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, Avowed, Fable, Contraband, and more Hellblade 2.

Games I'm hoping for updates on or announcements are Indiana Jones, Halo Infinite's campaign DLC, inXile's rumored RPG, Obsidian's Disco Elysium-esque RPG, Wolfenstein 3, Quake reboot, whatever new IP Zenimax Online is working on, and Compulsion's rumored third person action-adventure game.

The possibilities are endless!

Can someone just buy the E3 brand? This event Dying is bad because we all saw in 2020 how chaotic it was when it came to gaming news/conferences with everyone doing their own thing.

Yeah, it was Geoff Keighley's summer of gaming which was total crap. I really hope that E3 survives somehow and Geoff Keighley wouldn't step in, because it doesn't seem like he can properly manage multiple publishers to do their shows within close range like E3 can.

Anecdotally a number of my friends here in the US that has been waiting for months to get a Series X finally got one in December and with relative ease.

I’m wondering if Microsoft was able get a huge shipment out for December globally

Phil Spencer did allude I think in August or September that they were stockpiling consoles for the holiday season. It also helped that the upgrade for xCloud to Series X hardware was completed last summer, which allowed more Series X's to go to gamers rather than Microsoft datacenters lol

I think we are in for a strong end to 2021, at least given the shortages.

I think if Microsoft can make it to the end of 2022 without sustaining a significant sales drop off compared to 2021 they will be in fantastic shape for the rest of the generation. The chip shortage should be nearing its conclusion by mid to late 2022 and 2023 might be Microsoft’s biggest year ever for first party

Man, they are REALLY trying hard to get people into Battlefield lol

Lol probably part of contract since Xbox was marketed as the "official" platform for BF2042

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.

No idea about game development lol but with 10 months now before release, that sounds like a good amount of time for the remainder of development.

There will be definitely be a lot of great looking footage by the time June rolls around though!
