New Halo campaign showcase looks great. The game definitely redeemed itself after last year's poor presentation, which ones again proves the point that better delay than not. I still wish they showed a little bit more in depth the gameplay itself, because I still can't understand whether the game will be open world or linear with large areas or something else.

To me, it looks like it will very clearly be open world, but probably with some areas of the map gated off until you reach certain points in the story.

I didn't see a difference then again i dont look at single screenshots

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

"The simple answer is that it takes place in a huge world that is open and expansive," Crocker said in response to an inquiry about Halo Infinite's world structure. "We have a storyline that pulls you through it, which is effectively unlocking certain areas. But, as you progress through it, you have the ability to backtrack and explore to your heart's content. There is a lot to find out in the world."

This is what they said last year.

So essentially Halo CE's map design just on a grander scale. There was a lot of backtracking in CE, but that was more on hardware limitations at the time.

Woah, I had no idea MS is funding a MOBA. Wish the genre was bigger. Smite is ok but way too challenging for beginners. Battleborn was one of my most played games last gen and I loved Gigantic, too.

It can’t be as bad as Guardians was.

Surprised the original reveal likes were even that high tbh. It should never have been shown in 2020. With the game not even launching with co-op and forge now surely they must have known in June 2020 that it wasn't going to launch that year.

The difference they were able to make in just one year is night and day.

Now i'm not saying this is 100% confirmed but it looks like the next mass effect is xbox/pc only
