but dont worry, Home will have a lot of NOT free content meaning both (PS360) plateform will require you to pay if u want to access all the features.

 I agree, though I think you will not miss out on any basic things without paying in home, so you will get things like trophies for everyone, but you will have to pay extra to have a nicer house, more clothes etc

Also, I remember reading somewhere that when Home gets released they will sell advertising to companies to run a commercials on your virtual TV in your virtual home. Then, as mentioned, if you don't want generic home A, B, or C you have to buy it along with having something other than generic furniture D, E, or F.

With today's announcements about in-game XMB, etc., I feel MS will either announce free Live soon or announce it once those features come out. Let's face it, do any of us really believe that MS will keep charging for Live if Sony comes out with an identical, free service that also includes Home?

Sony will never charge for using PSN this gen. If they ever charge they should intergrate all the features xbl had on the 360 into the ps4, and charge for a much lower price. I dont think Sony should charge at all. Free online is part of the reason why some people buy ps3. My friend doesnt want to buy a year of live because he says it isnt worth it.

If xbl ever becomes free, or a price drop happens, it would be because of Home. If everything goes right for Home and it matches xbl or even surpasses it, microsoft will have to do something. I dont see microsoft lowering or making live free. Thats how greedy they are.

sony will always keep the psn free, unfortunately i think i'll still be paying $50 a year for xbl for quite some time

I'm hoping the PSN stays free, because if they charged for online gaming, I'd have to stop playing Warhawk. I refuse to pay a fee to play a game that I already own. I'd just have to find a lot of friends and have a Warhawk game every so often.

Xbox Live is free for silver members... 

My guess is that we can expect Silver members to get the same services as the PSN, and Gold members receive more features such as dedicated online servers, store discount, etc.

Here's a more interesting question, to me -- how does Sony make up the hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue lost froom not charging for PSN?

The obvious way would be to absolutely destroy the 360 in hardware/software sales, but that clearly isn't going to happen. Is it okay that Microsoft, with about 10 million gold members by year's end, will be making 400 million dollars more per year that Sony has no equivalent for?

Both companies make money off first party software, both make money off third party software, both will (at some point) make money off hardware, both make money off DLC -- and then Microsoft also has an additional revenue stream that's already exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars per year, and growing.
