Well I know that when i bought Galaxy this year it updated my Wii. I'm from Australia by the way. I was also considering buying the freeloader, games are too expensive down under =(

1 - I use piracy myself (I live in Brazil, there is no WII here, you have to import the console and import or download the games), but one think I'll never do is buy piracy. If you want to do somethink, do it yourself, don't make plp like Datel rich.

3 - Almost any modchip have region overwrite feature. If you have a old WII console, get a YAOSM. They are open-source (free), you just need a friend/knowledge to program and solder a microcontroler in ur wii.

And it is all harmless.

@Ares: Using the freeloader isn't piracy, you're just playing games from another region.

Yeah, I have no intent of using the freeloader for piracy (I don't even know if thats possible?). Definitely not getting a modchip.

I think I'll just import DS games and hope that Nintendo finally releases a region free console next time around.
