1 - I use piracy myself (I live in Brazil, there is no WII here, you have to import the console and import or download the games), but one think I'll never do is buy piracy. If you want to do somethink, do it yourself, don't make plp like Datel rich.
2 - There is a softmod released by tehskeen that runs imported in a unmodded console: http://www.tehskeen.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&file=viewarticle&id=2319
3 - Almost any modchip have region overwrite feature. If you have a old WII console, get a YAOSM. They are open-source (free), you just need a friend/knowledge to program and solder a microcontroler in ur wii.
And it is all harmless.
