I suppose you might be right mistershine. But surely there are some men who would feel similarly violated? Or is it just men tend to be so homophobic they can't stand to be patted down.

I was telling my friend last night about this. She was all pissed off too. She says if she has to walk through one of those she'd rather not fly at all.

It sounded fairly invasive, but seeing the pictures has pretty much put me at ease. If some guy has to have a picture of me naked as some kind of freaky alien thing for planes to be secure then so be it. I don't really see this as a freedom being taken away anyway, it's just a way to do a visual pat down instead of a real one, either way works for me.

I have no problem being patted down.  Of course it's not like getting felt up, but it is someone putting their hands all over you...I honestly would rather just get scanned really quickly than have to have someone's hands all over me.

I love the way you decide the problem is clearly with all men rather than thinking maybe it's with women. Men aren't as overly sensitive about their bodies as women.

Seriously it is far far less invasive to have someone who can't even tell who you are, see a basic image of your body. Than someone who knows exactly who you are patting you down. If your embarassed about your body it's your own issue. Those pictures basically look as revealing as wearing a swimsuit. You just get to see the outline of the body.

But im sure your happy to just think all men are homophobic, despite the huge flaw in logic since it could be a guy seeing you naked as well, so homophobia could come into it anyway.
