I'm so excited, I had to make a thread about it. BARF!

River City Ransom is one of the best games on NES, right up there with SMB 3. You have to beat your way through legions of thugs and bosses to rescue your girlfriend. You steal the money of your vanquished foes to buy waffles and sushi, drugstore concoctions and excalibur to build your stats. Buy books with secret martial arts techniques which allow you to strike with rapid combos, throw enemies across the screen, or stomp fallen foes into the ground.

 And did I mention that this game has two-player co-op?

 Your VC needs this game!

Thank God. VC has been sucking lately. Two games a week is bad enough, but we're lucky if one of those is actually worrth it.

Street Gangs was already put on the European Virtual Console back on 22 February. So they don't have to wait for the game, they already have it. And this will mark the first VC title on my must-download list since Harvest Moon.

 Okay, so they've had River City Ransom for weeks, and they have wonderful C64 games which won't be seen for God knows how long here in NA.

I declare war on Europe.

Best multiplayer game for the NES bar none.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Nintendo does seem to throw a bone to Europe every once in a while don't they, and MKWii came out in europe before NA too... well NA and/or Jap doe get most things first can't blame them for wanting/getting a few things first every once in a blue moon.



Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
