Forums - Gaming - Did you go PS1 or N64?

My older brother brought home a N64 one year with Mario and Mario Kart 64. I was addicted to it. My other brother and I took it over when he stopped to lose interest in it when he got his PS2. I'm surprised he hasn't tried to take it and pawn it off yet. He did however pawn my copy of Majora's Mask, and I never beat it!!!

Hi, this is Vince with Shamwow.

Yup both great consoles with great games to be honest. That generation the systems were pretty even in my opinion(not sales wise ofcourse)

I got my nintendo 64 first then ps1.

i had an N64, which i loved, Mario Kart and Goldeneye were my favourite games on it, my brother had a PS1 though so i played that as well

N64....By the name alone, it was 64x better than the PS1....LOL

Stopped playing video games when I got to high school because my Famicom didn't work here. Not until my 18th bday did my friends get me PS1 because I really wanted Final Fantasy due to storyline and graphics. I wasn't sure if I was interested in 3d Mario at all at that time.

Currently loving my Wii x2, Xbox 360 Pro & Xbox 360 Arcade, and Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Limited "Cloud Black" 160GB PS3

GAMEFLY & GOOZEX FTW

I got an N64. Obviously a Nintendo console always before anything else

Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird.

I had a Sega Saturn and i loved it but when it died i didn't buy any more games for a few years until i saw a N64 for quite cheap with Golden Eye.

I then picked up Ocarina of Time for a £5 and that was all i needed.

I played my Sega Saturn more though as i only had 4 games for the N64.

So i pretty much skipped that generation untill the Dreamcast came around.

Bad times for a Sega fan! Everything i liked was doomed! I have a 360 now so i'm hoping for the best!

My father bought one N64 when i was 6 so my childhood was all about Nintendo...

Ocarina Of Time,Super Mario 64 were my favourite games...good old(lol) days...

and by the time i didn't know english...it was difficult as hell to beat games like Ocarina of time without english vocabulary knowledges(i'm from brazil)

N64, best games were released, and the Smash franchise began on that system. That gen was the golden era of games, imo. Some great games were released.
