Me and my brother had the N64 with over 20games, then it was stolen. I went PS1 and he went back to the N64, with N64 games being about 60-120 dollars in Canada the insurance money allowed us to get the two systems and alot of good games. PS1 games were about $60 tops. This would of been back in June 98 or something.

The Playstation changed my life.

Both....it might just be me,but I´ve never really seen Nintendo and PS systems as competitors,but as complementing each other.

Nintendo + Playstation = FTW...IMO,of course.

The N64 had more games I would want to play now. The PS1 had more games I wanted to play, THEN. Overall, the PS1 bought me more joy, I'd say.

N64. Come on it was awesome, playing banjo kazooie, zelda, and donkey kong were the best parts of my life! Every single game i bought was just awesome... good days:'(

i had n64, killer instinct, golden eye, mario, ssb, legend of zelda, jet force gemini.....the list goes on and on, there were so many great games.

For me it was N64 but then I started seeing the tv ads for FF7 and knew I had to get a ps1.

I had a Playstation first and then we got a Nintendo 64 for christmas the same year! A good year to be me...
