looks good for what it is
compared to today's AAA productions it's a bit lacking in animation quality, especially during cutscenes

they certainly seem to have a big alcoholism problem with elderly martial arts masters over in Japan though :)

Things have definitely improved significantly from early footage. While it still doesn’t look as good as a big budget triple A game, I’m pretty happy with this. Maybe if it does well enough Shenmue 4 can get a much bigger budget?

The lack of QTEs is curious though. Is this game just not gonna have them, I wonder?

Ryu and Lan Di look just like the high-res renders for the Dreamcast game too, which is super neat. XD

Shame, looks like a budget game.

The textures and shaders are quite nice for the style of game this is but yeah, a AAA budget is something it doesn't have. The animation on that one dude walking with the orange pants is like...bad. Facial animations are better than before but still pretty dull and stiff .Not the biggest fan of Shenmue, but for those who are hyped, enjoy!

I'd probably be into it more if it wasn't still looking so rigid and dated.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Don't know what problem you guys have but it looks like a shenmue game to me.. perhaps because I played 1 and 2 and I know what to expect.. but whatever, game still in development.

This game actually exceeds my expectations so far. I feel sad now that I missed out on the Slacker Backer Campaign.

You know from what era those games are, right? Early 6th generation.

We are in late 8th generation now.

There are over 15 years of difference for this game to the second, looking like it might tell you a lot why people are not impressed by it nowdays.

Have you seen Fortnite? That is a AAA game.
