Sadly, John McCain would be the best president and has no chance at winning. Even if he had the votes, the thug mafioso Hillary would have rigged the election.
i would also like to point out that there are far more Ageists than Racists and Sexists and its seemingly socially acceptable.

 That's a bit harsh (the whole post is) but I agree that their (Hillary and Obama) programs are too close to socialism for my liking. I don't really like McCain much either, but I believe he is the best of the three current options.

McCain is nothing more than an extension of Dubya.


If you honestly believe that, you haven't been paying much attention for the past 10 years and you must have missed the entirety of the 2000 GOP primaries.

Other than their stance on the war (which is marginally different), McCain and Bush share almost nothing in common other than the title "Republican".

*yawn* is this Clinton vs Obama stuff still going on? I haven't even paid attention lately, I was following it so closely till a few weeks ago, I've really been bogged down with work and really not caring to hear Clinton anymore. Seriously, I'm a Republican that will vote for Obama if he gets the election otherwise I'm going with McCain.

 That is how it appears. I would hope that McCain would be against the Patriot Act (what a misnomer) and actually believes that America should follow the Geneva Convention. There's a lot of other issues where McCain can be a different kind of "Republican", but those issues will be front and center for me. 

 I doubt I'll vote for McCain (but that's just between me and Diebold) but if McCain wins I believe he'll be the first President with what I perceive as a true sense of duty to America since Jimmy Carter.
