My mom actually bought the snesand nes for her. For some reason she didn't like too many 3d games though except a few ps1 games like crash,and n64 games like mario 64. She did play jak and daxter 1 though.  Now she doesn't game at all except virtual console games on my wii. My dad plays a few pc games, but nothing special. So does anybody have parents who used to or still play video games. 

Most of my family does.

Me, my woman, mo Mom, my Sister, my brother all game, and they are all parents.

If you didn't include the Wii I would say just me say me and my wench.

I'm a parent and I have been gaming since the days of Pong. My wife is a mother and she plays the Wii.

My dad used to play the Commodore ViC-20 and C-64 back in the day.

my parents can barely operate a tv , it is probably a blessing they don't play video games.

My brother-in-law's a total Nintendo fanboy, lol.

Most American adults game so I'm thinking a lot of people on here have parents that game. My dad did the console stuff in the early 80s but stopped games after he played Super Mario Brothers 1 a lot. He started back up with the Wii but only plays Wii Sports. He claims to enjoy watching people play GHIII. My mom wants to play Wii but I never brought it over for her to try it.

Me and My dad enjoyed the NES and SNES, games like SMB and SMW. he stopped gaming after N64, and my mom never really enjoyed gaming, but I showed her a video of wii fit and she looked interested

My parents don't like video games.

My dad plays a bit (just what I forced him to do when I was in high school), but other than that, neither of them play at all. My mom has the view that "technology is evil;" aka "I have no idea how to use computers." My oldest sister plays some Warhawk with her boyfriend occasionally, but I'm the only one in my family who is a (for lack of a better term) hardcore gamer.
