I would be okay if that thing goes extinct.

Then you hate the environment and endangered species.

But we should not try and manipulate nature,if this species gets rejuvenated by our doings then it could also bring us extinction of other species.

We have messed with nature though. Deforestation, build cities, redirected water flows etc.

The biggest concern we have atm i honey bee populations are shrinking. Honey bees pollinate  alot of the fruits and vegetables we eat. Hopefully someone is working on an alternate solution to this lol
