Good God this game is God darn great. I've actually thought to myself already that it's going to suck when the game finally ends because it just begs to go on, yet it does exactly that, keeps going strong, and just keeps getting better as you go. I did not anticipate this much story and side content from a game with this level of quality. Based on the sale price I paid, I now feel like I owe SIE money. Heck, if I had paid full price I still think I'd feel guilty. It's been that good.



PS1   - ! - We must build a console that can alert our enemies.

PS2  - @- We must build a console that offers online living room gaming.

PS3   - #- We must build a console that’s powerful, social, costs and does everything.

PS4   - $- We must build a console that’s affordable, charges for services, and pumps out exclusives.

PRO  -%-We must build a console that's VR ready, checkerboard upscales, and sells but a fraction of the money printer.

PS5   - ^ -We must build a console that’s a generational cross product, with RT lighting, and price hiking.

PRO  -&- We must build a console that Super Res upscales and continues the cost increases.

So much hate for Red Dead in this thread. Red Dead was fucking amazing. Totally deserves every bit of praise it got. On the other hand, so did GoW, these two games were really epic, I can't chose which is my 2018 GoTY. To me GoW, RDR and The Witcher 3 are the best games this gen, with the Witcher being GOTG.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War are amazing, both deserve Awards :) But the God of War was the winner 2018 ^^ @bananaking : )

Buy some LoD copies to make up for it.

As long as GoT, and TLOU2 end up being as good as they look I'll have to buy them at launch. Along with the next GOW game, if I have a PS5 by then.
