Good god you just made me feel old. The only one of those songs I HAVEN'T heard of is "Dirty Little Secret"

"Roam" is a good choice, though "Dance This Mess Around" would have been an awesome choice for a B-52s song. "Rokcawa Beach" is another inspired choice. "Roxanne" isn't bad, and Oasis....meh.

But overall it is pretty uninteresting, especially since it's just DLC on 360 and PS3. It seems more tha anything to be a half hearted attempt to makeup for lack of same on the Wii than anything else.

The lack of it is stupid, but I gotta say this one is Nintendo's bad to a certain extent. Online support sohuld be there, true, but I agree with Harmonix that Wii should just come out with a hard drive, and then they could do DLC. I mean, the machine has a USC port on the back already. Just put out a hard drive, for christ's sake. Or even just do a firmware update that'll allow people to plug in 3rd party hard drives (heh--imagine buying a LASCII hard drive specifically for a Wii. Kinda ridiculous, actually) It can be an optional buy, not a 360-like different SKU.

 ... but would-be Wii RB players will be paying $10 more than PS2 owners for what will probably be exactly the same game (unless I am wrong, and I hope I am).  If you look at it like that, the 5 songs are costing Wii owners $2 each.

In B4 "PS2 version is superior"

This game sucks, they took away the world tour mode, no DLC. How can they remove that much content?

Better to buy GH3, and let this game rot in hell.

I like places where you get banned for posts like this. Anyway, you might have a point unless the Wii instruments are also USB because you can use the PS2 instruments with the PS3 version and vice versa. Even though this version is far worse than the PS3 and 360 versions, if you are never getting those systems this game is still worth getting because it's the ultimate multiplayer experience. Girls love this game. trestres: How is GH3 better because it doesn't have DLC either and only has 1 instrument? Drumming and singing are the best parts of Rock Band, and the fun of Guitar Hero is still there with the Guitar/Bass. 4-player co-op is great, and you can tug-of-war (assuming this is in the Wii version) with 2 of the same instrument if you know other people with it.

Cause of the price, if you plan on playing this game alone, then its not worth it.

Ah, I see. I would still disagree, unless you don't want to sing or drum I guess. It's basically 3 games in 1, so if you don't like singing then maybe it's not worth it, but drums are worth more to me than guitar since it actually teaches you to drum the songs if you play on expert. If you like all 3 it's only $60 for each experience with the instruments for each. Mutliplayer is the best part, though...

I know, but i was hoping for the single player modes, thats why Im so pissed about it. I know the game isnt bad, the developers are just lazy.

I'll be waiting for Rock Band 2 on Wii.

Windbane I've been here long enough to see the trends and behaviors common in the way people take discussion and you'll forgive me if my sense of humor doesn't reflect that. If I should be banned for such a comment then there wouldn't many people still active on this forum as I can assure you I'm not the one who created the comonality of such a figure of speech.

And sure enough!!!!! In your very response to that comment you prove it right! Forgibve me if I don't see the humor in all of this or notice the intolerance to discuss the Wii version of this game without any postivie aspect being made.
