I wouldn't call We Ski shovelware. It actually looks pretty fun and IIRC you can use the Balance Board from Wii Fit to ski in it.

We Ski is a Wii Fit game so that explains why it's so high up. We Ski didn't do so well in Japan but in the US it should be HUGE. |
Oh, It actually uses the WiiFit Board?
But wait, Doesn't Wii Fit already have a Skiing Minigame???
Still It's made by Bandai... sounds no good to me...
Does Shovelware sell more in the US than Japan? I think it appears so...
Ah, don't complain about shovelware. It's a long-standing misconception that it hurts consoles somehow to have it; quite otherwise, it does nothing at all to software or hardware sales at large. In fact, the most successful consoles ever have obscene levels of shovelware put onto them; just look at the PS2 library at large if you don't believe me. The only time shovelware is an authentic problem is when it's the only thing a system gets, and we all know that simply won't ever be the case with a Nintendo console.
Anyway, I can't say I'm surprised at this. Good Morning America's a huge spot to get the thing promoted, and you can be sure it'll show up on Oprah some time between now and a few weeks after its launch, too.

That's what I thought at last E3...
i can't believe people actually think this percentage means anything.
We Ski is not shovelware and is selling ok in Japan. It is currently #26 all time in Japanese Wii sales.

Those percentages are the most useless stat ever. Wii Fit will sell great, but please don't use those stupid percentages from Amazon. All it means is that Wii Fit went from 0 orders to whatever orders they got. Might as well be infinity percent.

Duh. And as far as I know, We Ski is the only Skiing game on the Wii... |
wow, what an increase, and this does mean something for wii fit
