I don't see a problem with the site, the games they listed should not be played by young children and i applaud this site for giving parents the resources to avoid these type's of games. Have you guys read the reviews for Z&W, its not for kids, most of the reviewers were dieing 100's of times, the puzzles were also too hard for young children.

Dude, please don't talk. Not because I'm offended, but because the kids you seem to be refferring to sure as heck ought to be.

Children are smart, and the only ones who aren't are the ones who keep getting told that games like Zack and Wiki are too hard for them. As long as the content itself is appropriate for kids then you just stay the F*** out of the way of their ability to challenge themselves.

If they're getting frustrated to the point where they're pitching a fit, their parents need to go "okay, that's enough game time, take a break and try again tomorrow" that's what my parents did for me. Otherwise, let them learn, cause kids don't learn based on how old they are. They don't have to reach age 8 before they can learn the multiply/divide technique. They can learn it as early as they're introduced to it and are given a chance to figure it out.

If it's a game, kids are willing to put themselves up to a challenge, to talk to friends about how to beat the challenge and then keep trying to figure out the challenge until they solve it. What happens when they solve it? TADA, the kid has more knowledge and has just expanded his or her mental reasoning skills.

Oh, and yeah, the professor Layton thing is also a sign of severe paranoia. Older guy + younger guy must = Butt buddies despite absolutely no signs, hints, or any other overt circumstances. Even though no kid would POSSIBLY ever have any reason to think about those circumstances being present, I'll tell him not to play it because I'VE come to the conclusion that bad things are happening to characters that are NOT REAL.

The bolded part struck me as hilarious (maybe it's just me).

This is a wonderful response. I've never really seen too many kids that hate being challenged, and want to take the easy way out (unless it comes to doing some chores). Zack and Wiki is a great way for kids to learn how to solve problems, and use objects as tools in innovative ways, leading to, hopefully, more creativity in life.

I think the same thing hit me too, which is why I censored out the word, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

lol, that reminds me of this cartoon:

It uses the same kind of logic, only in cartoon form.

Griffin, I have two children ages 10 and 7 and resent your implication that I'm a bad parent for not heading the atrocity of common sense that is this article.

This list is a very poorly constructed joke. Almost every game can have elements of questionable morality if you search beyond any implied intent.

Mario eating mushrooms and jumping on animals heads for example. Link at age 8 out in the wilderness on his own breaking into homes and stealing. You pick out just about any game you want and find an irrelevant correlation to immorality.....but that would just be anal.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

...ridiculous

I cannot figure out the site. Given some of the information on it, it almost appears to be a satire.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
