Does anyone have the official figures for DQ8?

I was wondering the same thing back when DQ9 was released. I bought two copies of it, and my wife and I put a good 300 hours each into the game. It's some of my fondest memories. It didn't catch on with DQ9, so it certainly isn't a surprise that DQ11 didn't make it happen.

As much as I'd love to see DQ make a name for itself in the states, I've come to terms with the reality that it's not likely to happen. It sucks when you want a game to sell well because you are worried that future games in the series might not see a North American release.

I got DQ11 the day it came out. I'm still playing the game probably once a week for an hour or two, and getting very close to finishing it. My wife and I both.
