Just read on Era that Switch is now over 50k sold in Portugal, up from 20k at the end of 2017 so a ~50% YoY increase. So maybe these smaller countries did have bigger growth.

Now we need every country in Europe not named UK, FR or GE doing the same or even better (by VGC calculations they have to do as a whole more than 65% more, at least, than last year to match VGC numbers). The question is... is that possible?

Why couldn't be that possible ? If people over there waited for more games or Pokémon and Smash only, it's a good reason. Overall the Switch will end up selling 4 millions more than last year, that's a good indication of what is possible and what is not

In my city, you cant buy a PS4, but you can buy switch and Xbox. Só, maybe the stock was a little short for the PS4 demand.

You're a grown man, no need to start resorting to unfalsifiable claims. Sometimes I wish I didn't have the ability to read people like a book.

And yes, that may seem harsh, but I had a hunch that you were a troll/fanboy, and it only took 30 seconds to find the following moderated post of yours:

But yet according to your profile you are 44 years old. Typically I find this behavior more common in the young adult range, not from a 44 year old grown man. It just reflects poorly on your peers, and it embarrasses me, to be quite honest.

It's just maths, simple maths. If VGC shows rest of Europe  growing 66% YOY with a week left and countries like Spain and Italy are not that much, that means that the coutries left in that particular rest of Europe, have to need an even bigger % to match VGC numbers, and then you have to remember there's still a week left, so that 66% growth that i mentioned earlier will be even bigger too.

If you can show me one of those countries showing Swtich sold 70% or more than in the previous year, i can start accepting is possible.

Yeah, no. There is no such thing as math in console sales, otherwise the Wii should have been a flop, and the Wii U a success, and the Xbox One shouldn't sell this poorly.

Its easier for smaller countries to have a bigger % increase exp. If you think about the fact most of those belong to those with rhe highest GPD in the world, so the wealth is there they just need to catch the moment and they did this year

Pretty simple economics

i'm discussing VGC numbers, that probably work with algorythms and mathematical calculations, so yes, there is such thing. Like i said, those countries need more than 66% growth to match VGC numbers. That's a fact. You can see yourself looking european numbers in VGC database and seeing how is showing a 66% increase already with a week left if you rest UK, FR and GE.

If Spain and Italy growth is similar to UK and France, the % to match that 66% in the rest of countries is even bigger, that's just maths, and is another fact.

Remind me of this:

Why i'm still discussing this???. I'ts just there, in the VGC numbers. Those are not my numbers. VGC shows European numbers, and then UK, FR and GE. Go watch them and then prove me wrong, but at least, bring some proofs, facts or whaterver, not only condescent humor.

Do you want me to be honest again?

This response seems a little harsh? He is of course only speculating?
