I so want to pick this game up tomorrow but I'm already buying two games this month. Perhaps after I'm finished with GTAIV and Mario Kart I will pick this one up.

I also tried to pick it up today, but it wasn't in any of the stores, and EB said the 16th, which seems to be the common date in this thread. I guess I'll swing by after work and get it and post my thoughts maybe tomorrow night

Yeah, I'm pretty sure today was the shipping date (I hate that they do shipping dates instead of release dates).  Except for the huge games and the random Nintendo games, game just about always ship on Tuesdays.

I meant good game gets to stores late, THEN sells bad.


Its not getting to stores late. Its getting there right on time. If you read the press release Capcom put out today, you would know the game SHIPPED today. This has always been the case. Every time games get a release date, in most cases, that is the SHIP date. Dont go looking for the game that day. The day you can go pick the game up is a day or two later. This is an exception for big titles.


 Well, Ubisoft tricked me that way with No More Heroes too. I looked called everywhere on the 22nd, and no-one had it till the 23rd.

I particularly enjoyed when I asked for Okami at Toys R Us, Futureshop and EB, everyone I talked to gave me this look like "wtf are you talking about" clearly not many people know about this one, which doesn't bode too well for its sales potential.

In fact, when I mentioned to one of my friends that I was gonna get Okami, he said in all seriousness "is that something about communists?"......lol so silly.
