December is gonna be another fantastic for the industry it seems. 

Any clues on how the PS4 is doing in comparison to its past Decembers? Specifically 2015, 16, & 17?

Ya I'm not expecting a 70% YoY increase this month but Smash is definitely moving more than an extra 100k.

With his post and edit you can see why he get so much flak. He is trying his best to troll PS4. PS4 is selling a lot even without deals available but he makes a post as it looks like it is doing bad.
