But where is the next mothership title for consoles.

I seriously wonder why they haven't said anything about it, maybe it's taking them so long because it's going to be AAA or they're trying to make it open world  hopefully the long wait means that this time they're putting some effort in the environment and dungeon design.

Still stung about Phantasia dropping after a year or so.

I don't think it lasted that long. Tales of the Ray didn't even make it a year. I actually enjoyed the combat of that one a lot. Proved you could have a competent Tales game on mobile if they wanted it.

I don't expect it in the West before the next consoles arrive.

Well, at least Tales of Vesperia is like a new game to me and I heard it's pretty good.
