Forums - Nintendo - Don't buy BOOM BLOX! EA removes head-tracking feature in BOOM BLOX!

to clarify my stance: i will purchase the first game to implement head tracking...this game is not it

however, that does not mean i won't get this game anyway for its actual gameplay...considering puzzlers are my fave and i own elebits, i am right in the target group for this game

I believe that whatever game it may be will be a PC title. It may already exist, since I believe there's a flight sim out there that implements it already. So there you go.

That actually was a selling point for me. Now instead of Day 1 purchase, I'll probably wait for it to become cheaper.

The removal of head tracking won't affect my purchase decision for this game nor the decision of 95% of buyers (90% which didn't even know about it).

Maybe and maybe I'm just being Pollyanna here but maybe EA has another game in the works built around head tracking and didn't want Boom Blox stealing some of it's thunder with a lousy easter egg.

 We have a winner.

Could you even do anything in game with it? I thought you could only use it for replays and the like.

I'm still getting this, btw. Seems like a really fun game with a lot more content and variety than I originally thought.

It is dissappointing, but I don't think is a reason to boycott the game. I mean it was only a feature where you could take a pic of your demolition and see it from different angles by movng your head, but it was nothing you could use during game play at all.

To be perfectly honest, I think this game looks pretty amazing, always did.

I am probably buying it, and head tracking was never a factor in that decision.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

It is a EA game, I would not buy it for any reason.

Spore say says hi.

Anyway, I had never known it had head tracking in the first place haha.  I just think the game looks interesting.

Impressions are REALLY good for this game, so please consider buying ^^

You guys were obviously way too hyped up about this head-tracking thing. What exactly were you going to do with it?

Isn't it obvious of the connection to this thread? http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=23951&start=0

This is your head tracking-less Boom Blox! Enjoy!
