i love when people agree on this forum...
@ rock on
Huh? You are quite a strange poster. You have said earlier that GT5 is garbage and racers suck, etc.
as someone who loves GT....a few reasons.
no dude i think its arcade racers are to young to drive. im a junior in highschool taking french 1 with all of the freshman and sophomores, cant drive... anyways everyone of thme that has a ps3 or 360 say that forza or GT are boring and would rather play, well they had a list of arcade games. my point is i think you have to be old enough to drive your own car and really apreciate driving like they do in like europe as aposed to american where its considered a chore! every one of my friends that are really into GT are really big f1 fans and just racing all around fans so it makes it easier to apreciate the game ya know?
btw i can drive, unfornately a Ford Explorer! cant do much high speed turning in that! it is fun though when we get this minnesota snow and go shitty wippin.
I'm amazed here no one's mentioned a certainty the GT series has going for it.
The reason Gran Turismo is so popular - Graphics - and Graphics Whores.
I like the previous post that Gran Turismo has the Pokemon effect to it. Gotta catch 'em all!
I like the incredibly realistic racing. If you're a gearhead, you can tune the crap out of the car.
The one thing I do notice, is that you can turn, but if your tires are slipping, you can "lean" on the other car and make a tight turn that would be otherwise impossible at that speed. Also you can run into a wall at 100 mph and then just back up and keep going again.
I still love the game anyways. Like Wii Sports for the Wii, GT5 is going to be the showcase game for the PS3.

its the real driving simulator, hehhe as they say ;)
The fanbase is huge and its a great game. All were great
I like technology when its moving forward..
PSN: methys
It's fun, it has the most realistic graphics I've seen on a console and has great online.
