Langrisser was SEGA's answer to Fire Emblem back in the day. Never released in the west for the same reason as Fire Emblem (They thought we would not like/understand it). It is also the precursor to the Growlanser series. Looking forward to this.

Never heard of it, but the artwork is good, even if on gameplay it seems simple. Will advise friends who like this type of game.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Actually, it did release on Genesis in the West as "Warsong".  I played it long before I knew what Langrisser was.

My friend's family had it on Genesis, and I used to borrow it.  Eventually, he let me keep it when he was cleaning out his basement of old games.  I still have it, plus the Sega Saturn imports:  Dramatic Edition (Langrisser 1 & 2), Langrisser III, Langrisser IV, Langrisser V.  And also Langrisser Re: Incarnation Tensei on 3DS.

In any event, I'm beyond hyped for this.  Love me some Langrisser.

Hope they'll release a demo, I wouldnt mind testing it out.

They better make sure it is the best remake ever, I still remember ReIncarnation Tensei.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
