DQXI with VC4 coming close. Sad how little interest people are showing in the latter even though it'll be available on all platforms including Switch.

What is Valkyria Chronicles? I didn't know it was coming to Switch, and didn't know the series existed until maybe a month ago, and assumed it was PS4 exclusive.

Nearing 3000 posts since 2013 and you've never heard of Valkyria Chronicles?

It's a series of tactical third person JRPGS. The first game was an early PS3 exclusive, largely considered the best JRPG of the generation alongside Xenoblade Chronicles (coincidence?). The 2 following games were made for PSP, with VC3 never releasing outside Japan. The series used to be Playstation exclusive until this generation where Sega remastered VC1 to PC and PS4 and are about to release VC4 on the 4 main platforms.

I haven't got around to playing any VC though (apart from the lovely original demo); a mistake I intend to correct.

This was extremely hard for me to choose between DQXI and VC4. The orginal VC is my favorite PS3 game but the original dragon quest on the NES was the first JRPG I ever played and DQ7 and DQ8 are both really high up on my personal favorite JRPG's list.

I ended up voting for VC4 because am no longer as into a traditional turn base combat system that enjoyed in my youth which gives the more unique combat system of VC4 the slight edge for me.

Both games still day one purchases for me.

Spider-Man for me, and apart from Shadow of the Tomb Raider, I don't know what else is coming out in September.

Ah, I see. I sadly never owned a PSP. If my backlog was smaller I'd hunt one down and get some of the stuff I missed on there, but for now I can barely keep up with current games much less start to eat away at my backlog. If this is one of those games you can jump in at any point in the series like Fire Emblem, then I'll definitely have to check this one out.

george clooney would say: spiderman, what else...😉

I want to see reviews first but I'm most interested in the Xenoblade 2 DLC and I would like to get NBA 2k19, but I first want to see if they balanced the microtransactions system. I heard it was horrible last year. I'll get it when it goes on sale, again if the microtransactions are fixed.

Dragon Quest XI and Spiderman for PS4 of course! both are fantastic, they are high quality games!
& Spiderman is soooooooo beautiful guys !!!! The Gameplay, Graphic, the City and Bossfights.. wonderful.

I meeeeeeeeeeean, spooderman will be slapping cheeks all month long. Shadow of the Tomb Raider would be a close second, will probably pick it up in December (RDR2 in october, FO76 in November)
