When they praise the game this much and the score doesn't reflect it, it is certainly strange.

It would probably make more sense if deskpro2k3 hadn't cut out critical parts of those reviewers' quotes.

When you look at the whole quotes, the attached review scores seem a lot more appropriate. If anything, the real problem is how poorly Metacritic handles review scores on the five-point scale.
