No it is REALLY short. I'd of felt somewhat ripped off if it wasn't supporting a small company and had a lot of great fun.
Replay value does seem real high, and i'll play through it until i unlock everything i bet... my friend and girlfirend also are planning to play through it at least once... so i'll get my money's worth out of it yet i'll imagine. I beat it in under 10 hours... Like... between 8 and 9 if i remember right.
Though I saddly missed one of the wrestling mask cards which is just embarising considering how linear the game is. I just picked up Killer 7. Hope it's story is just as crazy... but i'll wait to play that. |
Killer7's plot is almost incomprehensible. It's like a David Lynch film. I finished the game and though I enjoyed it, went to Wikipedia to see what the general consensus was on the overall plot. As a Lynch-esque horror title, it's just amazing, but Suda51 is a big fan of "open to interpretation" plotlines. Also, the final assassin to show up at the end (not Henry) in No More Heroes, the black guy in the white suit, is "actually" the main protagonist in Killer7.
I took around 15 or so hours on No More Heroes since I spent some time dicking around kicking open dumpsters and attempting the truly evil "do it without getting hit" side missions. Destroyman was one of my favorite bosses, as were Jeane, Henry, and I had fun with Bad Girl.
