Who this is fast. didn't expect them to launch this month already. Will be interesting to see how it will do there, the DS is doing pretty good isn't it? (heard there was even a TV show were they played MKDS against each other).

I wonder what the shipping figures will be.

You can only blame piracy when it involves PSP.
Nintendo DS has sold 1.4m in Korea since launching January last year. Software sales are 2.6m. This article blames the low attach rate on piracy.
Wii TV campaign starts today.
I love how people were giving the possibility of this event as the reason why Nintendo's sales have been low compared to production. I mean, I believe it was the reason without a doubt, but a lot of people somehow didn't see this coming. Should ioi have reasonable contacts for information in Korea I'd be willing to bet Nintendo see a massive boost in others for end of April through May, then a shift back to NA assuming China isn't close on the horizon.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
That's earlier than I expected... I wonder where all the stockpiling naysayers are now? Obviously Nintendo has been stockpiling for this launch (along with other events).

The line up is almost all 3rd party. I'm sure Nintendo will release more 1st party after 3rd party get a chance to sell. Kinda nice of Nintendo.

not evidence of stockpilling at all, i doubt they'd launch with more than 100,000 units
