The horn is blown-Bluray becomes the industry standard as toshiba admits defeat. Upgrading to HD is not a risk anymore.
Now we're getting momentum-The one complaint was that the ps3's software was lacking compared to rival consoles but it still held its own besting the 360 WW for the first 3 months of the year.Calm before the storm- This week marks the begining of the sony machine's true momentum. GTP- Wont do much for the consoles hardware sales but will bring more attention to the console via ads and word of mouth.
GTA4: This is the game that will really get the ball rolling. Not to mention its bundled with the console.
Mgs4: Already a proven system seller coupled with the fact that gta came out about a month before it. 2 well known PS games. Popular series WW. Also bundled.

As the holidays approach people may want to upgrade to HD due to everything going digital in 09. Comapnies push bluray.

Time marches on- Sony still has 2009 in the bag as well with both ff13 titles, twisted metal, god of war 3, and who knows what else.
