The 360 has released most of its biggest games and its sales are still increasing over last year.

Like the Wii, the PS3 doesn't rely solely on games. It has useful features, and unlike the Wii, it has a half-decent online service to add longevity to their games.

This discussion has happened many times, but only about the Wii. I think this is the first time someone brought it up about the PS3.

Sony is up to a lot, just as much as the other two probably.

Highlights:
-Home development, so that it grows beyond a cheapo marketing ploy, trophy/scoring tool, so that it can eventually add enough in terms of content to make it profitable. I'd imagine that Sony will eventually make it a B- grade version of 2nd life
-Engineering. With the modest advances w/ finding cheaper ways to make the blu-ray laser and such, Sony's long experience w/ consumer electronics is serving them well to reduce the costs of production as much as possible.
-More Bd games. Sony recently announced that they were researching ways to make the production of BD discs cheaper. With the reduction in cost, more money will be going to Sony, developers and perhaps a small cut in the prices of games will eventually be in order if they can get this down enough. Yes, obviously those titles weren't the biggest titles for the PS3, but I believe the same principle still follows. Once the titles appear, people will enjoy the games, then run after the next title. It is that simple. Once the big guns for the PS3 come out, the people will talk about it, say how cool it is....then talk about the next game that will help bring their favorite system to the top in this fictional console war. I think there should be less promotional ads for these games by us gamers and more gaming....or at least discussions about how cool the game is, what is our favorite part, etc. Or at least just talk about just plain sales about current games, or soon-to-be-released games...this is a website about sales, as far as I know.

They'll come out with a bunch of sequels which will be championed by all of those that say that Nintendo is lazy and rereleases the same stuff over and over.
