Horizon Zero Dawn is amazing. It might be my GOTG. Spending so much time with it that the music that plays during the initial loading sequence, as well as that at the merchants and main menu, is starting to bother me. Probably going to take the music off for a bit while I focus on some of the more basic tasks, as they'll be less likely to come with their own unique compositions.

Hey guys! Just letting you guys know I just ended my 20 year boycott on all Sony products. I ended with a purchase of..... Playstation Classic. I know it has terrible reviews for lazy emulation and including some games running at 50 hz instead of 60.

I read on some of the amazon reviews that you can switch the settings by either "You can change the settings on these games by pressing the select+triangle button on the controller during the playstation load screen. You can change the game from the European version to the US version" or "If you want to switch the PAL games to NTSC all you need to do is hold down Options, L1 and R1 (If you using a PS4 controller WITH the 8bitdo adapter) (You need the adapter to do this )"

I assume you can do this without having to mod the system. Worse comes to worse I can mod the system but I'll leave it legit for now. It should come in today so I'll try to see if you can change the settings on unmodded system. If anyone can give me some insight on being able to switch from 50 to 60 hz let me know!

Oh and it is currently $29.99 on Amazon now. For 30 bucks I figured what the hell. Those two controllers and system have to be worth least that.

Regarding the difficulty of HZD: Yeah, so far it's not exactly overwhelming me. I actually DO love the difficulty as is ( set at normal ) because the game is so huge. Happy to not have to re-do lots of stuff over and over in a game this big. Having said that, the challenges at the hunting grounds, at least some of them, seem tough. I have no idea how I'm going to loot 4 Shell-walker crates in 1:05. I already have a google search for this challenge open in a tab but haven't resorted to looking at any of it.....yet.

As for the new PS+ games. Eh, I'm easy with this. I can totally see why the reaction to this month has been poor though. Highly doubt I'll ever do more than add PES to my library. Know nothing about the other game. Looks like a modern, indie, Outrun.
