Wont be like its long lol .

Didn't you expect HFW to be ported to PC within a year? It's already longer than you anticipated!

Guerrilla is growing hard.

So we're looking at 2 MP titles: one from Guerrilla (which I assume is going to be akin to MH), and one from NCSoft (which I guess is an MMO). I figure the NCSoft one has to be a mobile title then, because surely Guerrilla's is going to be PS5/ PC.

I doubt Spider-Man 2 is coming to PC in less than 2-3 years, and this is probably optimistic. This game is gonna arrive in a period where PS5 production meets or exceeds demand, so "system sellers" will be required to sell as many consoles as possible.

I do remember he promising us that by the end of this gen all PS releases would be day and date with PC.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

I think it was Hulst that pretty recently said the gap would be narrowed down to a year at the most by the time new games get ported to PC. Even then, I wouldn’t expect that to be till the middle of the generation at the earliest since there’s still a quite a few games that need to be ported. The only exceptions to the rule have been the Uncharted collection and TLoU remake and I’m assuming the live service games.

The quote was "at least a year" not "a year at the most" for new AAA games but yes live service games will be day and date for PS5/PC.

I dont mind waiting for PC ports of current gen games.

What I do want though is legacy ports/collections :(

I did?. Im pretty sure my words where ill play it when it releases on PC since i still need to get around to finishing the first one.

And 1-2 years is not a long time to me and im sure its not to other PC users too. As long as Sony does the right price and keep making great ports with Pc exclusive features like they been doing honestly i dont mind the wait. Unlike SE with FF7 remake that was a shitty port even after waiting a year for it and was bear bones in terms of PC features (huge difference from their port of FF15) Sony devs take the time to make their PC ports great.

Wanna place a bet?. Ill give 2 years max.

Im pretty sure i never said by the end of the gen . However yes i do stand by that Sonys next step will be day and date.

The time it takes them to port their games have already been getting smaller. They have brought a bunch of PC porting studios. One of Sonys heads (Cant remember his name) said the time frame for porting to PC will be a year. Its only a matter of time.

And honestly i dont know why some Sony fans have a problem with this. The overlap between PC and consoles is not as big as some fans like to think. Just look at xbox. All their games are day and date on PC yet Xbox Series is the fastest selling xbox ever.

Casuals and most console gamers still think PC is way to complicated for them and think its much easier to just buy a box plug it in and not have to worry about settings etc etc.
