It's actually up to 300,000 viewers on Bungie's Twitch channel and 132,000 on the YouTube channel. Bungie and Destiny 2 was a MASSIVE get for Sony.

Holy hell.......Destiny is literally in the best state it's ever been in and only getting better! If anyone gets into Destiny, you're not gonna be playing anything else for a long time thankfully Bungie won't be removing anymore expansions, and every expansion that's still available, including the most recent one from this year, will be FTP this week if anyone cares to give it a try.
From Season of Plunder to Lightfall and beyond, the future of Destiny 2 is now.

The traversal really looks like a lot of fun! This overview definitely has me more sold than before.
My biggest concerns are the NPCs, dialogue, and character animations look like something is off, but there's still 5 months from release, barring any further delays. I guess we'll also have to see how the technical aspect of the game will be since its Luminous first solo project with a proprietary engine. Hopefully it'll be as bug free as possible at release.
Last edited by G2ThaUNiT - on 24 August 2022Destiny 2 has been doing stellar numbers since the Bungie stream a few days ago.
With the television series in the works, as well as the mobile port, maybe even a Switch 2 port down the line, Destiny 2 will be printing money for Sony for the rest of the decade.
In some really shocking news, the price of the PS5 will be increased in selected markets:
- Europe
- UK
- Mexico
- Canada
- Australia
- Japan
- China

PS5 price to increase in select markets (EU, UK, JP, MEX, CN, AUS, CA) https://blog.playstation.com/2022/08/25/ps5-price-to-increase-in-select-markets-due-to-global-economic-environment-including-high-inflation-rates/
"The global economic environment is a challenge that many of you around the world are no doubt experiencing. We're seeing high global inflation rates, as well as adverse currency trends, impacting consumers and creating pressure on many industries. Based on these challenging economic conditions, SIE has made the difficult decision to increase the recommended retail price (RRP) of PlayStation 5 in select markets across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific (APAC), Latin America (LATAM), as well as Canada. There will be no price increase in the United States.
The new RRPs below are effective immediately unless otherwise noted.*
Europe
PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – €549.99
PS5 Digital Edition – €449.99
UK
PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – £479.99
PS5 Digital Edition – £389.99
Japan (effective Sept. 15, 2022)
PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – ¥54,980 yen
PS5 Digital Edition – ¥44,980 yen
China
PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – ¥4,299 yuan
PS5 Digital Edition – ¥3,499 yuan
Australia
PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – AUD $799.95
PS5 Digital Edition – AUD $649.95
Mexico
PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – MXN $14,999
PS5 Digital Edition – MXN $12,499
Canada
PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – CAD $649.99
PS5 Digital Edition – CAD $519.99
While this price increase is a necessity given the current global economic environment and its impact on SIE's business, our top priority continues to be improving the PS5 supply situation so that as many players as possible can experience everything that PS5 offers and what's still to come.
Thank you for your continued support. "

So the most expensive markets of PS5 gets more a price increase due to inflation. On the upside people who got a PS5 at launch got the better SKU and cheaper.. but yeah its a bit shit. Though with inflation all around on a global scale its expected things to get more expensive. Like in the UK where cost of living has gone up dramatically over the last year. While not a lot £30/€50 extra more kinda sucks for people buying now. Wonder if Nintendo/Microsoft will increase prices, especially the latter since I can't imagine MS making much money on the Series consoles in our current climate.
Funny that Brazil which have rampant inflation didn't receive an increase =p

Let's be real now, in the majority of these markets where Sony has increased the price of the PS5, Series X/S will still be getting outsold by a comfortable margin lol.
