Just a reminder to those of you with PS Plus subscriptions that don't have a PS5, you can still claim the PS5 Plus games. They will all be there waiting for you when you get your new gen hotness. Some people don't realize this. Or forgot. Or whatever. It's a thing. Trust me. I'm here to help.

Only Bugsnax for now though, right? And then Worms Rumble on December 1. Unfortunately, you need access to a PS5 to add the PS Plus Collection games. But when they're added, you can play them on PS4 as well. I've checked and it works.

Well, I would assume there will be at least 1 PS5 game added every month, even it they are cross-platform. Now, the way it used to work with cross-platform is that if you claimed 1 version, say, Titan Attacks! on Vita, you would automatically have the other version(s) on PS4 and sometimes on PS3. This worked on the console, mobile, or PC. With Bugsnax, I had to claim the PS5 version to get the PS4 version, AND I could not do so via the PS4, only on mobile. So, as has been the case all too many times recently, a Playstation service has regressed in some aspect, and offered it's customers a product that is inferior to it's previous iteration, for the same amount of money. It's still doable, just more of a convoluted hassle.

I hope Sony launches some faceplates soon. I'm really hoping for some PS1 special ones like they released the PS1 DS4 and PS1 PS4. I have yet to use my PS1 DS4 tho.

For your nostalgy that is certainly good

Hell. A PS1/2 Dualsense would be nice too.

Oh so you MUST have a PS5 to play the PS4 Collection games... interesting :o Oh well, I've literally got every game on the list already anyway lol :P

Yeah, it's a weird choice considering they're perfectly playable on PS4 after you've added them.

1: Bugsnax was an exception as it was announced to be only the PS5 version specifically. Did you manage to also get the PS4 version anyway? No wonder it was a hassle if you did because that wasn't intended. You PS4 mofos got both Shadow of War and Hollow Knight. Leave some Bugsnax for the rest of us!

2: Nah, on the contrary, things have improved. On PS5 as well as on the new mobile app and browser based store, it's easier than ever to just add PS Plus games to your library without having to go through hoops to claim it. On PS4, some games could only be claimed if you pressed install. You could of course just cancel it right away but that was a hassle compared to how it is now. I remember you talking about this.

You'll see it for yourself when December's PS Plus games are out this Tuesday. Unlike Bugsnax, Worms Rumble is indeed the PS5+PS4 cross buy version so when you add it to your library, it'll show up on both consoles.

I got RayStorm in the mail. Quite enjoying it. May go after Einhander if I can find a decent price. Always heard good things.

- I went into the store while logged-into the app. I found the PS+ icon, tapped it, and was required to login again. Not sure if this will be the new norm, but I definitely didn't have to login twice to claim games in the past. Whatever. Just thought I'd mention it. Once logged-in again, I located Bugsnax. I noticed immediately that it had both the PS5 and PS4 icons. The thing is....I haven't actually checked my PS4 library to confirm it's there. Just assumed I got it because of the PS4 icon. I'll check asap.

- I'm not going to get too much into the app, but as I mentioned, I literally had to take an extra step that didn't have to in the past in order to claim my game. Regarding the inability to "add to library", yes, after approximately 5-6 months where one, or sometimes both games could not be added, it has reverted back to the way it always was.

Sorry if my post is half assed or weird. I had 3 hours of sleep after 22 hours awake. Just spelling is kinda tough right now. :)

Einhander was really good IMO. I think it should hold up well.....

I can't not post this clip from South Park in the Playstaion Nation thread. I have wanted this particular clip for a while now, and South Park Studios just uploaded it 2 days ago. It's NSFW, but Bristow is the cool mod so we won't have any problems. Again, don't play this at work while your boss is leering behind you, because it's NSFW.

Sony Said Cross save is up tô devs. Don't know If they can fix It. But since the Studio was closed I don't think Sony Will patch this game for Cross. Perhaps If tô many people complain about lack of Cross save on several games Sony may correct this limitation. See Yakuza 7 you can Cross save on Xbox but not on PS, and sega don't Care.

BasilZero said:

Damn, that is quite a shame.

I'm chiming in here because I think this is wrong. Cross-save is a feature for a game that is designed for 2 platforms. So LBP3 on PS3/ PS4 or PS All Stars for PS3/ Vita.

In these situations, each platform has its own version of the game. DriveClub is not getting a PS5 'version': it's just the PS4 game being played on the PS5, so your save file will transfer as long as you have it.

Yakuza 7's situation is just straight up dumb. I wonder if MS paid for cross-save functionality because tons of other developers are not having cross-save issues (but I am not claiming they are, just seems strange to me)

Yakuza 7 on PS4/ PS5 are  two different versions of the game. Yes, you can play Y7 PS4 on your PS5, but the PS5 update will make it more like a PS5 game. This requires the cross-save functionality for your save to transfer.

Even games that are only BC the save transfer isn't sure thing. Sony left it to each dev to decide, I think it should be always available, but who knows what Sony made on the code.

Not to play, but to claim you need a PS5, after you claim them you can download in your PS4 and play. In Brazil there are a lot of people selling the service of claiming the games on your account using their PS5. Seems like ban waves are happening.

I guess for now it will be a game at every 2 or 3 months for PS5 because there aren't that many. Bugsnax and Destruction All Star was said like that.
