I'm no computer specialist but being re-directed to another page is not necessarily the fault of the site you are trying to visit. If you have caught a malware that will redirect you to some virus loaded page, that malware could redirect you from a number of websites it is programmed to or even all sites if it's written in the malware code.

Of course a malevolent website could do that too or the advertisement appearing on such a site could do it. But logic suggests if it's the website itself then everybody visiting it should be affected too and not just a few people.

I suggest you run an anti-virus on your phone (I assume those exist for phones too) and good luck to you.

As I said to another post there is zero chance the problem is on my phone.

Not only does it only happens here, and as soon as I enter the site (30s to 1m), I take very good care of this phone, if there is malware it comes from here.

Shame when the site losses visitors over something unrelated to the site and it's contents. Mobile is so key in 2018.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Try downloading the Adblock Browser from the Play Store. Works wonders in this site.

There is one called literally "adblock browser for android" has 10m downloads if you search for the term he used you will see it listed in the top results. I don't use it myself as you'll be costing the site to visit here if you use bandwidth without viewing the adverts, that said... if you can't use the site because of the redirection then at least this way you would still be increasing the sites popularity by using it.

I'm actually just going to use my laptop for this, I miss it a lot.

Posting here just to say that what happens to OP is happening to me too.
And it only happens with this site and only on android phone.

It is not as simple as that.
These advertisement companies are pushing custom-tailored ad-rotations to you based on your geo-location, your os type and version, your browser or the information they already got from you by cookies, like your browsing history and so on. So it could be that a user in the US could be totally fine while a user in Europe gets the malevolent ad.

As for me i have these problems since nearly 2 years. Only on vgcharts and only on mobile phones, regardless of IOS or Android. My solution is to disable Javascript while browsing the site.

I've been getting that exact page for over 5 months. It's the reason I don't visit as often as I'd like.

I've been having that problem for about 2 years.  But, it seems to come and go.  For a couple of days it will happen maybe 25% of the time.  Then, nothing for a month.  Then back to 25% of the time.
