Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nvidia Reportedly Made $972 Million From the Nintendo Switch

Good, I guess this could mean a custom chip design in the future.

Yeah, I think Nvidia will definitely have more Nintendo needs on mind with their future mobile cheaps.

Wait what? What stupid editor let that bullshit through?
He just takes the full revenue and subtracts automotive and then pretends there isn't a single other product using Tegra? Please get this bullshit off of here.

All we know that the revenue is maybe between $0 and $972m. That the OP takes the maximum number as a fact isn't very surprising.

OP didn't take anything like a fact, OP just copy past things from article, no one said its a fact.

All those Switch that Nintendo sold in the first year made them a lot of money. Let see if they can replicate that this year

Revenue from Tegra processors that are used in the company's automotive solutions and the Nintendo Switch was announced to be $1.53 billion with automotive revenue being $558 million during Nvidia's 2018 fiscal year. Subtracting that from the total Tegra processor revenue of $1.53 billion we get what   the site refers to as  "non-automotive Tegra processor revenue -- in other words, Nintendo Switch processor revenue" totalling around $972 million.

In other words... It includes all devices that leverage the Tegra SoC. Not just Switch.

That includes nVidia's Shield, nVidia Jetson, Google Pixel C, Acer Chromebook 13, Lenovo ThinkVision 28, JXD S192... List goes on.

This is why people complain about "Fake News".
